Random Friday

Because I'm feeling a wee bit under the weather, my brain is not cooperating while I'm trying to post. Random thoughts seem to be interfering with the process, so I'm not going to fight it anymore.

1. The backpack of doom now weighs 16.7 pounds. Yes 2 pounds more than when

I "cleaned" it out. Obviously it didn't get the memo.

2. The ladies had fun last week at Spa Day at the shop. Creative use of store samples

made for cute costumes

3. Emma is not a willing model. Good thing I don't need to get a release from her.

4. The scarf Emma is modeling has three gazillion million short rows that form the ruffle.

The ruffle is almost halfway done. Thank doG.

5. It snowed Wednesday. The ground is white in places. Northbrook got more snow than

RR1 Cloyne.

6. I would have won big on Jeopardy yesterday. I got almost all the answers right.

And yes, Alex, I'll make it a true daily double

7. The back office and my little office are tidy. Wonders shall never cease.

8. The cost of shipping in Canada is outrageous. A $350 order ships within the US (from

Michigan to Watertown NY) at no charge. Cost of my gasoline to drive to Watertown

and back is approximately $25. To have the order shipped to my store - $95, plus

brokerage fee of $35 plus. The "plus" worries me. It could add another $50 or more.

9. In case you're wondering. Yes, I'll be going to the States next week to pick up

aforementioned order.

10. A mysterious parcel arrived Wednesday from Apple Canada. What could it be?

11. My pink suitcase arrived Thursday. It is a thing of beauty. And very, very Barbie Pink.

12. I have a very cute little grand daughter.
