Merry Christmas

The tourtierre was a big hit last night! Cliff, with whom I am not consanguineous but I love him like my own, said the funniest thing. He was saying he'd never had better tourtierre, and what truly amazed him was how perfect the pastry was. He didn't know (and still doesn't) that the pastry was the new Pillsbury ready made pastry. I will admit the pastry was perfect for the meat pie situation; I'm not sure how it will be today with the pumpkin in it.

By the way I got my iPad! Santa was so good to me!
