Conceding defeat

That's what I'm doing today. I concede to this darned illness that is sweeping through my family. First my little grandson Robbie got sick on Saturday, then his mom, his grandma, his aunt, and I all got sick on Sunday. I did come into work today just to do some shipping, and then I was going to go home. It's quarter to three now, and I'm still here. The shop has been very busy today, with husbands getting gift certificates for their wives and the silk scarves are still selling like hotcakes.

A shipment just arrived from Diamond Yarn of Katia Ondas! Just three colourways of the self ruffling scarf yarn that is the thing this fall and winter. At $13.95 per 100 grams, you can make  lovely scarf in just  few hours. A perfect last minute holiday gift
.

I have the colour pictured above, plus a brown/beige mix and a teal/green/turquoise mix in stock now.

But, I think I shall pack up my bags and head for home and give into this cold or whatever it is. The electric blanket and couch are beaconing me.

This time I was able to figure out the word of the day just from reading your post! Sorry you are sick, everyone at work has it except me. I'm into the echinacea....
