amazing what you can accomplish in an hour or so

Around 8:30 this evening, I posted I wasn't going to make the tourtierre. I then decided if I just prepped  everything tonight, it would make the work so much less tomorrow. I guess I got carried away...the tourtierre is in the oven and the house smells fantastic. Around 10:30 tonight I shall be taking this divine tourtierre out of the oven to cool down. Then it's just a simple matter of reheating for an hour at 300 degrees.


And cleaning up this mess!


The best part? No frozen pizzas for dinner tomorrow.
