New Yarn Alert

I have it on good authority (the invoices arrived in my email tonight) that some new yarn is arriving - possibly as early as tomorrow. Nature's Way is a beautiful, undyed chunky/bulky weight wool. The colour  of the yarns comes from the fleece itself. I personally can't wait to get my hands on the Southdown - a lovely cream two tone. This wool is so very soft - 50 gram ball with 87 yard to each. There are 5 other shades ranging from a beigy brown to a dark grey black. At a price of $4.95 per ball, lovely sweaters, hats and mitts can be made at a very reasonable cost. Of course, you all know that I will probably dye some just to see how it will look.

Also new to the shop - the Addi Lace Click sets have arrived. These sets are replete with 5 different lengths of cords, and 8 needle sizes. I love the pointiness (is that possibly a word?) of the lace tips combined with the smoothness of the nickel coating. If you would like a set held for you, or shipped, just let me know.

The shop was kind of busy today....so not too many little piggies were killed by those Angry Birds. Hmmm, this game was not the reason I lusted for this iPad. I had planned to put my knitting patterns, and techniques on it, so they would always be with me. And, I can't seem to find any time to do that.

I'm too busy killing those nasty little piggies.
