New Yarn is Here!
Mr UPS did arrive today, carrying no less than 4 boxes just for me! I spent a moment admiring the new colours of the Butterfly Super 10, then I dove face first into the Stylecraft Nature's Way.
The shade Southdown is prettier than I imagined. I already have one skein knit up into a cute little baby toque. It's just awaiting the pompon on top. I love the stitch definition and sproinginess of the yarn. It is cloud soft to the touch, and was a pleasure to knit. I'm thinking 3 or 4 skeins would make the most amazing winter boot socks ever.
Yes, the ends need weaving in, but I wanted to include the photo in today's blog post. There are 5 other shades varying from this pale white/grey all the way to grey/black. I have already ordered more of it, I like it that much.
Now, here is the shot of my iPad before I unwrapped it. Poor Mr Knits paid extra to get it gift wrapped. The only way Apple could have been less secretive is to have put "There's an iPad in this box" on the outside.
