She's finished it

The second mitten, that is. And Jaycee knit these mittens without a pattern. I told her how many stitches to cast on, gave her approximate measurements, showed her how to do the first afterthought thumb, and the decreasing. She did the second mitten on her own - with no notes or patterns. She just referred to the first mitten to make the second one the same, except for the thumb placement which she cleverly figured out had to be reversed. This girl is a natural! Now, she wants to knit socks.
