Keeping a promise.
I promised a couple of friends I would post this today, and I'm keeping my word.
Yesterday, I ordered a pair of eyeglasses from Clearlycontacts.ca and they were free! Unfortunately for all of you in the Toronto area, that one day special is over. You will need to sign up with facebook to see it (or you can email me and I will give you the details.) The Calgary giveaway is January 20th and the Ottawa giveaway is January 25th, giving you lots of time to go online shopping for your frames and getting the necessary information together. All you need to order is you prescription, your PD (it's easy to measure this) and the coupon code. Then you go browsing through the frames, choose your favourite, enter your prescription and your new glasses will be on your head in about 10 days.
These are the glasses I ordered. I think these glasses will make meso hawt, so cute, much younger looking see so much better! I like plastic glasses as the nose pieces don't rip out my hair when I slide the glasses onto my head to see up close better. It's one of the bonuses of getting older.
So, what I'm getting are true prescription eyeglasses, for the princely sum of $16.44. That's the cost of shipping and insurance. You can also get Transitions lenses, regular or progressive bifocals, and other options like thinner lenses at a small additional cost.
