A nice day for a drive?
I left work early today to drop off a guitar in Norwood and a set of bongos in Colborne, and then continue on to my son and daughter in law's house in Toronto. It was a bright, sunny winter day in Northbrook, and several of my customers remarked it was such a nice day for a drive.
Or not!
The trip to Norwood was uneventful; the weather was still lovely but cold. About 5 kilometres south of Norwood, on my way to Colborne, the snow flurries started. By the time I got to Colborne, the snow was coming down so heavily, my car was covered with 2 inches of snow in less than 10 minutes.
I left Colborne at ten after 4, and it took over 3 hours to get to my final destination! That's a drive that usually takes about one hour and fifteen minutes. Who'd have thought there would be more snow in Toronto, than up here in snow country?
