I've been dyeing again
This time I'm dyeing bluefaced leicester worsted weight yarn with bluefaced leicester sliver (or roving). And this is the result thus far. I am very pleased.
These rovings and yarns will be sold as a kit for thrummed mittens or socks. A few years ago I got the idea for matching thrums after making countless pairs of thrummed mittens and being bored with the solid thrums, or the mittens made from hand dyed yarns with the jarring plain thrums. I think these will look spectacular knit up. The big question is which one will I knit and which ones will I sell. The kit will sell for $20, and includes the yarn, roving and pattern. If one of these colourways tickles our fancy, and you must have it, drop me a line and I will put it aside for you.
