Bugs

For Hallowe'en, I thought bugs just might be appropriate. On Labour Day weekend, Lynn and I went to a studio tour and then onto Westport for some shopping. I did take some photos that day, and never got around to looking at them. Here are some of my favourites from that day.

The bees were really busy in the garden

This was about 4 inches long, and its wing span about 6 inches. I wish I knew what kind of bug it was. Beautiful and ugly all at the same time. click on the photo to make it bigger and check out the patterns on its body, and just how transparent its wings are.

We had a great day exploring the backroad of south eastern Ontario - I went to many new towns. Arden, Westport, Newboro...and so many more I can't remember. We do live in a pretty area of the province.

Happy Hallowe'en. Remember to brush your teeth after eating all those goodies.
