Do you ever get the feeling someone is watching you?
Today, we (Lynn, George, Too Tall Ted, Mr Knits and myself) moved, covered, rearranged and dismantled everything in the yarn shop in anticipation of the new carpeting being installed on Monday. We had thought this task was going to take many many hours of work, but in actual fact after only 2.5 hours we were done. What a pleasant surprise that was.
What wasn't a pleasant surprise was the lack of painting that was done on the walls behind the yarn shelving. And to think we actually paid for this work! You can see the blue paint not quite touching the chair rail all around the room. He didn't even paint around the thermostat (at the right side of the doors). I think you can make the photo larger by clicking on it if you want to inspect hislack of workmanship. All of the unpainted areas were covered with the yarn shelves so this wasn't noticeable. Until now.
The shop looks so huge with the all the yarn moved to one end. This one:
And here, in the new lounge area:
At least we can still access the coffee, tea and espresso machines. I need my lattes!
The washroom is also packed with stuff - mostly mannequins.

It all is a very organized mess. I know where everything is (even though I may have objected to it being put there). I was surveying the chaos just before leaving for home tonight, and decided to use the facilites, and this was my view from the throne!
Five pairs of eyes watching me! A little disconcerting, to say the least. I have to wonder if the men placed the heads like that on purpose. Hmmm. I wonder.
