Nettie McNetBook

A few months ago, while I was shopping for Mr Knits' birthday presents, I found the cutest little netbook, and absolutely had to have it. I call her Nettie McNetBook - she is a pearlescent white 10" computer that fits in my purse. I love her. She does everything my huge laptop does except burn dvds. And I can play pinball in the car on the way home from work - if Mr Knits is driving, that is. Way too much fun for an almost senior citizen.

Last night I finally got around to configuring our wireless  router to work with the satellite internet (which I still hate - see my post of June 4th).  I had been putting it off as sometimes this configuring process doesn't go too well and I get all frustrated. Imagine my surprise when it worked the first time!

Right now, I'm in bed with Nettie on my lap surfing away while sipping tea. Emma, the litle monster dog, is desparately trying to get my attention as she apparently is having a belly rub emergency. Purrl is at the window making sure the birds outside are behaving themselves.

Truly, this is my idea of decadence.
