Did the earth move for you?
Wowser - an earthquake! In little old Northbrook. Thankfully there weren't any reported injuries, or extensive damage. It sure was fun though. Our little knitting group has just settled around the tables, when the rocking began. You should have heard the creaking of the building as it slowly moved back and forth.
We have a video surveillance system, and I didn't think of taking the tape out until I was almost home, so I called Mr Knits to get him to do it. I hope we can watch the quake in action!
I've been in more than 5 earthquakes, and this was the mostfun exciting...at least I knew it was a quake when it happened. Every other time, I found out about the quake either hours later or the next day.
So, I can strike one more thing off my bucket list - having the earth move under my feet! Stay safe everyone and check to see if your homeowners policy covers earthquake damage - you can never tell about aftershocks.
