Tinkletorium Times, vol. 1, issue 1
Work is progressing nicely on the renovations. After the contractor found rotting sill plates and floor joists, I was a little bit concerned (okay, I was panicking) that the job would never get done. But, all that angst was for naught... 4 hours later, the sill plates and floor joists have been completely replaced.
The plumbing is being relocated, and tomorrow the shower unit and water heater will be delivered. At 5:00 AM! Guess who will be sleeping at the shop tonight? A shop with no indoor plumbing? Me! Thankfully, Bob Mumby came bearing a gift this morning...
A PortaPotty! Just the thing to add ambience to the front of the store. We feel quite privileged to have this little outdoor potty though. They seem to be a hot commodity in the summertime and are very scarce up in this neck of the woods.
We now have three doors at the front of the store, just like "Let's Make A Deal".
Makes me want to dress up in a crazy costume and say, "I want to take Door Number 3, Monty!"
