And the answer is YES!

And just in time - we got a bit of snow last night!

One half of a skein of Manos del Uruguay Wool Classica in colour 108, 4 hours of knitting (including about half an hour of frogging and reknitting) and it's done!

It has a nice long cuff to keep your wrist warm, holds a can of pop or water bottle snuggly, but with room for your fingers to move. Morgan and Steve have already given it their seal of approval too. Morgan said it would be great for ice fishing - if the lakes ever freeze, that is.

I don't suggest you hold your beverage like this, unless it is unopened, I only wanted to show you the bottom.
Here's the view from the top (by the way, do you have any idea how hard it is to photograph one handed?)

It's a nice, snug fit. And it seems to be a one size fits everyone except Andre the Giant. I have small hands and the men who have tried it on, say it fits them perfectly. Once the pattern is written and released I will publish the link here. The techniques used in the construction of this quick gift  are magic loop knitting in the round, grafting, and knitting two together. That is it! Quick, simple, and very, very useful.
here's the money shot

So cheers to everyone! If I don't blog before holiday - have a safe and happy one.
