Spring's here!

Yarn isn't justing for knitting anymore....these eggs are simply plastic ones from the dollar store wrapped in some easter coloured fashion yarn. The whole dozen took about 20 minutes to wrap and arrange in the basket on top of Stinky's cat grass (thank you, Candy!)

This is the basket as I first arranged it - it has changed since the photo was taken.

Now, here's a sneak peak at the newest sock pattern I've been working on. You can see it completed at the shop. For now, it's called "Got My Mojo Back", as it is the sock that got me knitting again.

Of course, it's a toe up done on one long addi Turbo and the yarn is Twilley's Freedom Gorgeous in Fennel, shade number 705. I used just over 75 grams to make the pair.

This past Tuesday we received another two sets of the Addi Clicks, let me know if you want a set. The selling price is $160 plus tax, and shipping is free within Canada.

The dyeing workshop is next Saturday, the 28th. I'm looking forward to teaching the group how to make beautiful yarn. Cost of the workshop is $20 which includes the yarn, dyes, and other consumables. All you need to bring is a crockpot, wooden spoon and tongs. Dress in old clothes you don't mind getting stained.

I'm also taking names for the April Workshop on Steeking. There will be homework to be done before the class; it will take about 2 hours to complete. Yarn requirements are 3 colours of worsted weight 100% wool. I'm thinking of putting a kit together at a cost of $7, email me if you would like me to get one ready for you.

Talk to you all soon. Have a great weekend
