Dyeing Workshop

Well, they came, they learned and then they dyed. Here are the results - in the pot first:

Candy's Pink and Spruce mix


Carole's Chartreuse and Pink mix

Flora's and Nancy's Lilac and Chartreuse mix

You might wonder how Carole's turned from bright pink and green to this lovely mix of browns, greens and burgundy. We overdyed the skein with brown Jacquard Acid dye and it turned into this beautiful fall like blend.

We had so much fun today, that the last Saturday of each month is set aside for a dyeing get together. We hope to try out a new technique every month, and show off what our last month's yarn looks like knitted up. This group has room for a couple more participants, so let me know if you would like to take part.
