The worst thing about a blog is...

That when you say something out loud, you can't take it back. Like the promises I made to finish the Lanesplitter skirt. I can't find it anywhere! It wasn't in the stash of works in progress behind the sofa, it's not here at the shop. I know it's somewhere, hiding in plain sight in a really pretty bag. I just can't find it!  The frustrating part is I'm almost finished it - I have maybe one evening left of knitting, then it needs to be seamed and the waistband added - maybe 4 hours work total.

So, since I broke that promise, I have cast on not one but two of the Summertime scarves. One I need to rip out as the gauge is all wrong, the other is more than half finished. Tonight, I am gong to finish at least one of the scarves, and then try and figure out where the heck the skirt is.

Or maybe, I'll just cast on another project. I figure if I broke my promise to finish the skirt first, then it doesn't matter about the rest of the promises. Does it?
