making a skein holder from Tinker Toys. Gotta tell you though, I wouldn't trust it! Having had 3 brothers and 3 sons who all played with Tinker Toys when they were kids, I know how easily it comes apart - at the most crucial moment! I remember the tantrums well!
But it sure looks like fun!
Another cool little devise that goes well with this one is the motorized Lego yarn winder
Of course, you do need the ball winder and skein holder, but just think about how much fun it would be to wind your yarn!
