Esteemed guests
the wind is blowing quite strongly right now; the hydro keeps flickering off and on. The power had better not go off today! The huge television is all set up in the shop, just waiting for the revelers to arrive.
Sadly, I have received some regrets from invitations sent out - here's one.....

Attention: State Invitations Secretary, Log Cabin Yarns
Lady Jeanette Mary Louise of Tiny Archibald on the Island sends regrets that she will not be able to attend the wonderful viewing of the Royal wedding to be held at Log Cabin Yarns.
Lady Jeanette also sends her felicitations to Lady Nancy and all attendees at the viewing and bids them have a wonderful time!
Lady Jeanette will tip a cup of tea (or maybe sherry) to all of you during the Royal Celebration.
Enjoy!
At knitting yesterday, we all created our royal names to be used for the wedding. We used the first names of both our grandmothers for the first and middle names, and hyphenated our first pet's name with the street we grew up on for our last name. then we prefaced it with "Lady". These are the royal names of yesterday's knitters:
Lady Dorothy Alice of Muffy-de General Metman (Lynda)
Lady Emma Mary of Sandy-Harvie (Joan)
Lady Mary Louise of Tiny-Archibald (Jeanette)
Lady Henrietta Isabelle of Vicky-Kennedy (Marion)
Lady Evelyn Margaret of Copper – Sandown (Nancy)
This morning, I thought that instead of using our pet's name, we should use our grandfather's name - so my name would become Lady Evelyn Margaret of Frederick-Sandown. I like the ring of that name. However, if I just changed it a little bit more and added my dad's mother's last name it would become "Lady Evelyn Margaret Frederick-Sandown of Coard." Now that name has truly a royal sound to it!
MSN Canada has asked that we video and photograph our celebrations and upload them to their website. I'll provide a link where you can watch and view our little party.
Just think - 24 hours and it will all be over!
