Thursday's Knitting Group
Similar to turning your clocks back this Sunday, our Thursday knitting group is moving back a day to Wednesdays starting next week. Hopefully this will be a better day for everyone. Several knitters & crocheters from the Plevna area have wanted to take part in the group, but their craft group meets on Thursdays.
I finally dropped off the mittens and hats to Community Services today for their Christmas hampers. They were most appreciative. Over 25 pairs of mittens, and several hats were in the bundle. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to the donation.
Our travelling blanket project has stalled though. We have 4 on the go - one is ready to be cast off, the other three need another band or two knit.

Just grab a skein of yarn from your stash (or the basket in the shop here) and knit a stitch pattern of your choice for about 6 inches and you're done. Any help is much appreciated. The blankets when completed will be donated to the Linus Project.
