OMG
So, Mr Knits decides the yarn shop attic needs insulation yesterday. He and his good buddy go off to the local insulation enabler store, buy a trailer full of the stuff, rent the blower and they proceed to cover Northbrook in grey fluffy stuff. I am not kidding!
After about an hour of the machine not working right, they asked me to google for the instructions. So now the machine is working fine. No more insulating Northbrook. Fast forward about an hour. The attic is almost finished and the good buddy falls through the ceiling. Yup, not all the way, enough that the front half of the yarn shop is now covered in this grey fluffy stuff. Good buddy wasn't hurt too badly - just some scrapes to his knee, thank goodness.
To say I was not impressed is a bit of an understatement. So, the long and short of it is, this weekend will herald the first "Blown In Sale" at Log Cabin. Most of the Tilli Tomas Raw silk is 50% off. And I will be adding to that as the week progresses. The insulation is not hazardous, (except to marriages) so grab the deals while you can.
We were at the shop really late last night, and will be in bright and early today cleaning up. We have quite the mess to contend with. And, the hole in the ceiling still has to be fixed so more grey stuff shall be floating in my space.
