Look what I did!

15 vibrant semisolid colours of superwash sock weight merino

I spent the entire day yesterday dyeing - even as I looked after customers. The kitty was a great help too...it's a wonder she's not technicoloured now.

The yarn that is left is all skeined up and in the shop. A couple of skeins were sold - soaking wet! There are a few shades I am especially happy with - one is the pink, which I was able to keep to a subdued tone, and the fourth skein from the right which is a soft sage/olive semisolid. The yarn base is 100 per cent superwash merino wool from Australia. It has a nice firm twist that will give you good wear if you make socks, but is soft enough for fine baby things and lace shawls and scarves. Each skein is 100 grams and has approximately 400 metres. I have the first skein I dyed already knit up into a sock. Here it is, in all its glory (on a severed leg from Dollarama!

And here's a closeup of the heel:

And, ladies, believe it or not, I have the pattern written up! It's free with the purchase of the yarn.
