Old stuff, new stuff

Old stuff:

It's not often I check my blog statistics, but while I was on a long hold with Bell Canada that's just what I did. Remember when I said a lot of the new hits to the blog are as a result of google searches for Phentex yarn - here's the proof. These are the blog hits from today as a result of google searches. You will note the large number of phentex hits. I have to tell you how impressed I am that I converted a pdf to a jpeg. If only I could remember how I did it! There have been many times I wanted to show you something only blogger doesn't allow the posting of pdf files. Another quest to be added to the list.

New Stuff:
Here's some more photos of knitterly things:
A hat by Mrs. D - made with Kraemer Silk and Sterling and trimmed with Fur Yarn by Paula Lishman.
Stunning, yes?

The sock pattern that I'm testing is called Trossocks by twotoast on ravelry.com. It's knit with a skein of my hand dyed merino. I love how the cables show up with the semi solid yarn. I'm on the home stretch now - just the gusset decreases, foot and toe to do.

Barb's first toe up sock - she took a class here a few weeks ago, and this is the first finished sock. She is now on her second pair (in green for her grandson). Way to knit, Barb!

Jeannette's Side to Side Sock from Sockdolagy.blogspot.com - the February Sock project. Jeanette used SWTC Tofustsies.

And, last, my own thrummed hat pattern - both the right and wrong side shots. Most of us like the wrong side best. Reminds us of a clown's wig. Very flattering when you're having a bad hair day.
