And now it's snowing!

What a week it's been! First, the insane cold, frozen pipes and cars that wouldn't start, and now it's snowing! And it's supposed to snow almost every day for the next week. That means more knitting time for me, and more snow blowing time for John. Sometimes it's good to have "his" and "hers" responsibilities.


Here's Stinky, hard at work, performing her responsibilities to the best of her ability as head cashier:

On Thursday we had two new knitters come to our group - welcome to Carol and Diane. It was also good to see the Ashby Lake contingent - I haven't seen some them since the first of December. Hope to see you all back this Thursday from 1:30 until 3:30 pm.

This coming Saturday is the stashbusting workshop from 11 am until 2 pm. If you plan to come, and haven't confirmed, please do so by Wednesday so I can have enough handouts ready. Bring an assortment of knitting needles mostly in the larger sizes. Circulars are preferred due to some of the patterns benig shown. Remember to bring some of your stash yarn you want to use, and all of the stash yarn you think or know you will never use again. We will have a yarn swap, so you may be bringing home more than you came with!


Finally, circle Saturday, February 14th on your calendar. It's my birthday and I'm having a party! You are all invited. In addition to cake, ice cream and party favours, there will be special discounts on selected yarns and notions. Perhaps we'll play some games too.
