Actual Knitting Content

Back in February, when Olivia was visiting, I knit up this little summer top. It's knit in one piece, with just two side seams. I used a cotton tape gauze yarn in a beige and white mix. I think Liv looks so cute in it!

The back is knit the same as the front....just in reverse

During the week she was here, we also knit her an infinity scarf from Rowan Kid Silk Haze - 2 skeins of it, on the knitting machine. If I had knit it by hand...well, I'd still be knitting it. It took about 20 minutes on the machine from start to finish. We felted it slightly the next day and this is the result

This is looped three times around her neck. Nice and cozy, and the colour suits her so well. And matches her mittens, which apparently was very important.

It's just looped twice around her neck here. She is the sweetest girl you'd ever want to meet. Olivia has started "Team Jackie" in honour of her late mom who passed away after battling lymphoma for two years. Her goal is to raise $10,000 for Lymphoma and Leukemia research - here's some information about the walk and some pertinent links:
