6 Weeks!
It has been almost 6 weeks since I last posted. So many changes since then too.
My mom was released from hospital on the 16th of March and moved into her new suite in a seniors' apartment in Pickering. It's a lovely place, and I hope I end up there one day.
After months, and I mean months, ofprocrastinating researching, I finally have purchased a new car. A 2011 Kia Soul - and I love it! The purchase process was not the easiest as I bank at PC Financial, and I didn't realize one cannot get certified cheques, bank drafts take 5 to 7 business days, and bank transfers take up to 3 business days. I spent 3 days in Toronto waiting for everything to go through (but I did have fun visiting with family).
Now, for the biggest, most exciting change that Mr Knits and I have been working on. We have added a coffee shop to our line up. I want to call it "Spill the Beanz" and Mr Knits wants to call it "Northbrook Coffee Shop". What do you think?
We are currently serving coffee, tea, latte, cappucino, cafe Americano and hot chocolate. Soon, iced coffee and baked goods will be added to the menu.
As soon as I find my little pink camera, photos will be taken and uploaded. I know I put it in a very safe place - I just can't remember where!
